Apple objavio listu modela koji će podržavati iOS 18
Apple donosi velika poboljšanja svog operativnog sistema za pametne telefone sa iOS 18 – otvara sledeće poglavlje u AI, omogućava RCS,
donosi druge komunikacijske funkcije (tekstualne efekte, emoji reakcije, itd.), Menadžer lozinki i poboljšane funkcije prilagođavanja.
I ima dobrih vesti: svi iPhone uređaji koji trenutno koriste iOS 17 mogu se ažurirati na iOS 18.
To znači da iPhone XR, XS i XS Max iz 2018. ostaju najstariji modeli koji su još uvek podržani (u septembru će napuniti 6 godina).
Originalni iPhone SE je nije uključen sa iOS 16 ( iz 2016. godine), ali druga generacija (od 2020.) i treća (2022.) su i dalje na listi ažuriranja.

Imajte na umu da samo iPhone 15 Pro i iPhone 15 Pro Max dobijaju Apple AI, koji će ostati u beta verziji čak i nakon potpunog lansiranja iOS-a 18.
To znači da nema posrške za iPhone 15 i 15 Plus i sigurno nema starijih modela. Dva 15 Pro modela su jedina koja koriste Apple A17 Pro čipset, a stariji čipovi A serije nisu podržani. Neural Engine unutar A17 Pro može da isporuči do 35 TOPS, dok A16 Bionic nudi samo 17 TOPS, manje od polovine računarske snage.
Neke zadatke veštačke inteligencije će obavljati server (Apple-ov Private Cloud Compute), dok će drugi biti obrađeni na samom uređaju i jasno je da postoje minimalni zahtevi za performanse.
U iščekivanju novog iOS 18, u Srbiji se veliki broj starijih modela iPhone telefona i dalje koristi (mislimo na modele iz 2019-2021 među koje spadaju serije iphone 11, iPhone 12 i iPhone 13).
Korisnici Apple telefona se izgleda sve ređe odlučuju na kupovinu novih modela odmah dolasku u prodavnice mobilnih telefona.

Šta je, u stvari, garancija za telefon?
Garancija za telefon, tačnije zakonska saobraznost je garancija prodavca da uređaj koji vam prodaje, u ovom slučaju telefon, nema nikakvih oštećenja ili kvarova. Takođe, garancija za mobilni telefon pokriva i sve kvarove hardverskog ili softverskog tipa, koje nije izazvao korisnik nestručnim rukovanjem ili fizičkim oštećenjem uređaja.
Prilikom kupovine telefona kod ovlašćenih prodavaca, kao kupac ostvarujete pravo na zakonsku saobraznost (garanciju) u trajanju 24 meseca iliti dve godine, koja podrazumeva obavezu trgovca da u predviđenom roku održava taj uređaj.
Dakle, kada je reč o mobilnim telefonima, prodavac ima zakonsku obavezu da za telefon koji kupujete obezbedi saobraznost u trajanju od dve godine. Sve kraće od toga je u suprotnosti sa zakonom i najčešće ukazuje na to da je reč o robi sa sivog (nelegalnog) tržišta koju neko pokušava da vam proda. Jedini izuzetak, tj. jedini scenario u kome saobraznost može trajati kraće od dve godine je kupovina robe sa greškom (takozvani outlet) ili robe koja se tretira potrošnim materijalom i nerealno je očekivati da traje dve godine.
Šta pokriva odnosno šta ne pokriva garancija za mobilni telefon?
Ukratko, garancija za telefon, tj. saobraznost ne pokriva ono što se može desiti uređaju greškom korisnika, slučajno ili namerno.
Na primer, ukoliko ste slučajno ispustili svoj telefon i on je tom prilikom pretrpeo manje ili veće oštećenje ili je prestao da radi, proizvođačka garancija odnosno zakonska saobraznost vam neće pomoći. Čak i ukoliko je vlaga, koja može napraviti problem mesecima nakon što je došla u kontakt sa vašim telefonom, dovela do kvara, garancija neće biti važeća. Ovo napominjemo zbog toga što se neretko dešava da se telefon pokvasi, a da posledice vidite tek posle nekoliko nedelja ili čak nekoliko meseci.
Šta možete da uradite ukoliko dođe do kvara koji nije pokriven garancijom? Svakako možete odneti telefon u ovlašćeni servis i ostaviti ga na popravci, ali zamenske delove i servisnu uslugu ćete morati da platite iz svog džepa.
Takođe, ukoliko ste odneli telefon na popravku kod neovlašćenog servisera ili ste sami pokušali da otklonite kvar, velika je verovatnoća da garancija za vaš telefon više neće biti važeća. Dakle, telefon sme da otvara i popravlja isključivo ovlašćeni servis – u suprotnom ćete izgubiti garanciju.
Sada se verovatno pitate kako će serviseri da znaju da je telefon otvaran od strane neovlašćenog lica, ali verujte da se to veoma lako utvrdi. Svaki proizvođač ima neki svoj “trik” na osnovu kojeg utvrđuje da li je telefon otvaran ili ne. Nekada je to poseban nevidljivi lak koji se nalazi na određenim mestima u telefonu i koji se prilikom otvaranja telefona ošteti, nekada su to minijaturni prekidači koji registruju otvaranje kućišta uređaja, nekada specijalne nalepnice… Uglavnom, nemojte pokušavati da prevarite servisera jer vam neće poći za rukom.
Još jedan od načina na koji nesvesno možete izgubiti pravo na garanciju mobilnog telefona jeste ukoliko dekodirate uređaj koji ste kupili preko operatora. Zapravo, svaka neovlašćena izmena načinjena na softveru uređaja, to jest na njegovom firmware-u, dovodi do povrede garancije. Međutim, dobra vest je da nakon isteka ugovorne obaveze koju imate prema svom operatoru mobilne telefonije možete da tražite takozvani Network Unlock Code tj. specijalan broj koji ćete uneti u telefon i tako ga dekodirati – na šta imate puno zakonsko pravo. Samim tim nema potrebe za plaćanjem dekodiranja.
Ako pametni telefon nije prestao da radi sam od sebe, već uzrok leži u padu, udarcu ili kontaktu sa vodom, reklamacija neće biti uvažena i to je važno znati. Zato prodavci, za određene telefone, nude mogućnost doplate za dodatno osiguranje, koje upravo služi da vas obezbedi u slučaju da se takva nezgoda desi, pa čak i u slučaju krađe.
Koliko traje garancija na bateriju telefona?
Baterija telefona se može smatrati potrošnim materijalom i u tom slučaju garantni rok na bateriju je najčešće 12 meseci, osim ukoliko nije drugačije navedeno od strane proizvođača odnosno prdavca. Baterija se smatra potrošnim materijalom ukoliko je lako izmenjiva, tj. ukoliko korisnik može sam, bez posebnih veština i alata da je promeni.
Međutim, većina modernih mobilnih telefona koristi baterije koje nisu lako izmenjive, kojima korisnik zapravo nema pristup. Ovakav tip baterija Zakon o zaštiti potrošača ne smatra potrošnim materijalom, što znači da je garancija tj. saobraznost na ugrađene baterije najčešće jednaka garanciji na sam uređaj i traje 24 meseca. No, postoje slučajevi kada ovo pravilo ne važi, usled određenih specifičnosti samog uređaja ili baterije, pa je najbolje da se o detaljima vezanim za bateriju informišete pre kupovine.
Kako ostvariti garanciju na telefon?
U slučaju kvara telefona, neophodno je da se izvrši reklamacija uređaja, što možete učiniti u prodavnici u kojoj ste telefon kupili ili direktno u ovlašćenom servisu.
Ukoliko ste telefon kupili preko svog operatora, potrebno je da ga odnesete u bilo koju poslovnicu vašeg mobilnog operatora, a oni će ga proslediti u ovlašćeni servis. Naravno, telefon možete odneti i direktno u ovlašćeni servis, čak i ako ste ga kupili kod operatora.
Ako telefon odnesete direktno u ovlaćčeni servis, ubrzaćete ceo postupak jer prodavac odnosno oprator neće morati da ga transportuje do servisa i vraćaj nazad nakon servisne intervencije, što će čitav proces skratiti za najmanje dva dana, a neretko i više.
Prodavac, operator ili ovlašćeni servis, u zavisnosti od toga gde ste uložili reklamaciju na telefon, ima zakonski rok od osam dana da odgovori na vašu reklamaciju, u smislu da vas obavesti o tome da li je ona prihvaćena ili ne, kao i o načinu rešavanja reklamacije. U slučaju da je vaša reklamacija prihvaćena, rok za konačno rešavanje je 30 dana.
Kada imate pravo na zamenu telefona ili na povrat novca?
Ukoliko se kvar na uređaju dogodio u prvih šest meseci od dana kupovine, tada kupac ima zakonsko pravo da bira na koji način želi da reklamacija bude rešena – popravkom uređaja, zamenom uređaja (za isti ili drugačiji model uz nadoknadu razlike u ceni (ukoliko postoji)) ili povratom novca. Važno je da se o tome na koji način želite da reklamacija bude rešena izjasnite odmah, tj. u trenutku kada ste uređaj odneli na reklamaciju.
Ako je do problema na uređaju došlo nakon šest meseci od dana kupovine, Zakon o zaštiti potrošača vam ne daje mogućnost da odlučujete o tome na koji će način reklamacija biti rešena, već o tome odlučuje ovlašćeni servis. No, čak i tada se može dogoditi da vam telefon bude zamenjen novim ili da vam bude vraćen novac, ukoliko ovlašćeni servis ustanovi da je popravka uređaja nemoguća ili da je ekonomski neisplativa za davaoca garancije odnosno saobraznosti.
Šta ako telefon nije kupljen u ovlašćenoj prodavnici?
Imajte u vidu da sve do sada navedeno ne važi u slučaju da telefon niste kupili u ovlašćenoj prodavnici, tj. putem zvaničnog prodajnog kanala kompanije koja je proizvela telefon. Zakon o zaštiti potrošača štiti kupce koji su telefone kupili kod ovlašćenih prodavaca.
Ukoliko ste telefon kupili na tzv. crnom tržištu, kod švercera i slično, ovlašćeni servis nema obavezu uređaj servisira o trošku proizvođača.
Naravno, vi telefon svakako možete odneti u ovlašćeni servis, ali imajte u vidu da ćete sve troškove popravke snositi vi, a ne proizvođač.
Nemojte se služiti nikakvim prljavim “trikovima” jer ovlašćeni servisi veoma lako mogu da utvrde u kojoj zemlji i na koji način je telefon prodat jer doslovno svaki telefon ima svoj “dosije” koji je vezan za serijski broj uređaja. Drugim rečima, na osnovu serijskog broja, serviser može da proveri u kojoj je fabrici uređaj proizveden, kada je napustio fabriku, u koju je zemlju i u koju prodavnicu poslat iz magacina proizvođača…
Kao što i sami možete zaključiti, nekada vas ušteda od nekoliko desetina evra može skupo koštati. Kako vas ta nedeća ne bi zadesila, preporuka je da kupovinu obavljate isključivo putem zvaničnih prodajnih kanala tj. u ovlašćenim prodavnicama, jer ćete tako poštedeti sebe nepotrebnog rizika.

What is the warranty for the phone?

Also, the mobile phone warranty covers all hardware or software type failures, which were not caused by the user’s improper handling or physical damage to the device.
When buying a phone from authorized sellers, as a buyer you are entitled to a legal conformity (warranty) for 24 months or two years, which implies the obligation of the seller to maintain that device within the prescribed period.
So, when it comes to mobile phones, the seller has a legal obligation to provide two years of conformity for the phone you buy. Anything shorter than that is contrary to the law and most often indicates that it is a commodity from the gray (illegal) market that someone is trying to sell to you. The only exception, i.e. the only scenario in which compliance can last less than two years is the purchase of defective goods (so-called outlet) or goods that are treated with consumables and it is unrealistic to expect it to last two years.
What is covered by the mobile phone warranty?
In short, phone warranty, i.e. compliance does not cover what may happen to the device by mistake of the user, accidentally or intentionally.
For example, if you accidentally dropped your phone and it suffered minor or major damage or stopped working, the manufacturer’s warranty or legal compliance will not help you. Even if moisture, which can cause a problem months after coming into contact with your phone, has led to a malfunction, the warranty will not be valid. This is due to the fact that it often happens that the phone gets wet, and you see the consequences only after a few weeks or even a few months.
What can you do if there is a defect that is not covered by the warranty? You can take your phone to an Authorized Service Center and leave it for repair, but you will have to pay for replacement parts and service out of your own pocket.
Also, if you have taken your phone to a repair shop or tried to fix the malfunction yourself, there is a high probability that the warranty for your phone will no longer be valid. So, the phone can only be opened and repaired by an authorized service provider – otherwise you will lose the warranty.

Another way you can unwittingly lose your right to a mobile phone warranty is by decoding a device you purchased through an operator. In fact, any unauthorized modification made to the device’s software, that is, its firmware, leads to a breach of warranty. However, the good news is that after the expiration of the contractual obligation you have towards your mobile phone operator, you can ask for the so-called Network Unlock Code i.e. a special number that you will enter into the phone and decode it – to which you have a full legal right. There is no need to pay for decoding.
If the smartphone has not stopped working on its own, but the cause lies in the fall, impact or contact with water, the complaint will not be accepted and it is important to know. How long is the warranty on the phone battery?
The battery of the phone can be considered consumable and in this case the warranty period on the battery is usually 12 months, unless otherwise stated by the manufacturer or prdavac. A battery is considered a consumable material if it is easily replaceable, i.e. if the user can change it on his own, without special skills and tools.
However, most modern mobile phones use batteries that are not easily interchangeable, which the user does not actually have access to. This type of battery is not considered consumable by the Consumer Protection Act, which means that the warranty is i.e. compliance with built-in batteries is usually equal to the warranty on the device itself and lasts 24 months. However, there are cases when this rule does not apply, due to certain specifics of the device or battery itself, so it is best to inform yourself about the details related to the battery before buying.
How to get a phone guarantee?
In the event of a phone malfunction, it is necessary to make a complaint of the device, which you can do in the store where you bought the phone or directly in the Authorized Service Center.
If you bought the phone through your operator, you need to take it to any branch of your mobile operator, and they will forward it to an Authorized Service Center. Of course, you can also take the phone directly to the Authorized Service Center, even if you bought it from the operator.
If you take the phone directly to the Authorized Service Center, you will speed up the entire process because the seller or washer will not have to transport it to the service center and return it back after the service intervention, which will shorten the entire process by at least two days, and often more.
The seller, operator or authorized service, depending on where you have filed a complaint on the phone, has a legal deadline of eight days to respond to your complaint, in the sense of informing you whether it is accepted or not, as well as how to resolve the complaint. In case your complaint is accepted, the deadline for final settlement is 30 days.
When are you entitled to a replacement phone or a refund?
If the device malfunction occurred within the first six months from the date of purchase, then the buyer has the legal right to choose how he wants the complaint to be resolved – by repairing the device, replacing the device (for the same or different model with the compensation of the difference in price (if any)) or refunding the money. It is important that you state how you want the complaint to be resolved immediately, i.e. at the time of your purchase of the device.
If the problem on the device occurred after six months from the date of purchase, the Consumer Protection Act does not give you the opportunity to decide on how the complaint will be resolved, but the Authorized Service decides on it. However, even then, it may happen that your phone is replaced with a new one or that you are refunded, if the Authorized Service finds that the repair of the device is impossible or that it is economically unviable for the guarantor or the conformance provider.
What if the phone is not sold in an authorized store?
Keep in mind that all of the above does not apply so far in the event that you did not buy the phone in an authorized store, i.e. through the official sales channel of the company that produced the phone. The Consumer Protection Act protects customers who purchased phones from authorized resellers.
If you have purchased the phone. black market, smugglers and the like, the Authorized Service has no obligation to service the device at the expense of the manufacturer.

Of course, you can certainly take the phone to an Authorized Service Center, but keep in mind that all repair costs will be borne by you, not the manufacturer.
Do not use any dirty “tricks” because authorized services can easily determine in which country and how the phone was sold because literally every phone has its “file” that is tied to the serial number of the device.
